There is an on-chain financial product, external capital may allocate to it, and someone needs to understand what is actually true about it before trusting it.

Institutional capital is arriving on-chain. Operational trust infrastructure is not.

Every institutional buyer of an on-chain investment product asks the same operational questions before allocating. Today, they piece together answers from audit PDFs, docs pages, oracle feeds, and email chains with issuers' investor relations teams. No standardized artifact exists. No continuous verification exists. No procurement-grade evidence layer exists.

Who can change the token, and how fast?
Multisig thresholds, timelocks, upgrade authority, role assignments. All on-chain, but buried in audit reports and rarely surfaced to buyers.
02 · ASSETS
What actually backs the token?
Off-chain custody arrangements, custodian attestations, fund administrator reports. Real, but not standardized across issuers.
03 · ECONOMICS
Where does the return come from, and what does it cost to leave?
Fee schedules, redemption limits and gating authority, loss allocation, and whether the price transacted at is the value an exit realizes. Published in prose across docs pages, never consolidated, and rarely priced end to end.
04 · GOVERNANCE & COMPLIANCE
How has this changed, and what is the regulatory posture?
Signer changes, contract upgrades, registration status, transfer restrictions, KYC and sanctions enforcement. The operational surface a compliance function actually watches.
05 · CONTINUITY
What if the issuer fails?
Bankruptcy-remoteness, security agent attestations, legal-structural safeguards. Traditional finance solved this decades ago.

Plinth's five-pillar framework was benchmarked against published research and diligence methodologies from leading RWA, institutional and crypto-native research organizations, including RWA.xyz, Galaxy Research, Coinbase Institutional, a16z crypto, Messari, Delphi Digital, S&P Global Ratings, Moody's Ratings, LlamaRisk and Particula. The review was repeated independently across multiple AI models to reduce model-specific bias and test consistency of the mapping. While terminology differs across firms, the substantive questions consistently cluster around control, assets, economics, governance and compliance, and continuity.

The current OUSG worked example is a frozen, reproducible public-data baseline. The intended workflow adds monitoring, procurement exports, and customer-controlled AI use without blurring the evidence boundary.

A cross-platform standard cannot be owned by any single platform.

Trust standards work when they are structurally independent from the parties they measure. Plinth is designed for exactly that role in on-chain investment products. Infrastructure any issuer can adopt, on any platform, verified by methodology that anyone can reproduce.

NO PROTOCOL MONEY IN THE CAP TABLE
Investors are structural, not the entities being attested. No commercial capture on either side of the trust relationship.
PUBLIC METHODOLOGY
Framework, tag taxonomy, and verification procedures are open. Anyone can reproduce every Layer 01 value from public identifiers.
PLATFORM-AGNOSTIC BY DESIGN
No exclusive integration with any issuance platform. Any issuer on any platform can publish to the same framework.
SINGLE-PURPOSE INFRASTRUCTURE
Trust artifacts are the only product. No bundled feeds, no cross-sold services. Every issuer relationship is pure infrastructure.
